Pinterest Round Up

Thanksgiving Projects and Inspiration

This poor, neglected blog. The last posts were in July and coincidentally that was the last month before returning to work. Having a lot of time off this month, I was able to complete a few of my Pinterest projects I'd been eyeing for awhile:

Toddler Table

(pin-spiration)

B and his table (Target):
How cute does he look on that tiny chair?

Fruit and Cheese Turkey Appy:

(Honestly, it only took 20 min)

Festive Holiday Garlands for B's Playroom

I couldn't decide... I liked them all so I made a couple of each: doily, countdown chain, bunting, and polka dot glitter garlands! Very fun and festive holiday decor... the best part is that he can't pull them down or knock them over.

Reading Nook
for my little Book Worm

 Felt Christmas Tree

(inspiration)

It's not up yet, but stay tuned.

Can't wait for another round of projects during Winter Vacation. It always feels good to actually complete projects from my wish list/pin board.

Fun with Paint

My little budding artist hard at work:
(13 months old using Melissa & Doug paints, recycled newsprint and Kid Made Modern wooden canvases)

Bougainvillea for Spring

Spring is in el aire... I've never purchased silk floral before so this was a fun experiment. I took inspiration from Pottery Barn's Spanish bougainvillea branches and Pinterest.

Here's how my DIY turned out:

I'm pretty sure my silk vines will outlast the real ones I picked up at Lowe's this week.
