Modern Jungle Finds

Progress

While keeping up with a baby is difficult, keeping up with a baby book is even tougher. I spent the last few mornings slowly adding pictures to Ben's photo album so as not to fall too far behind. Gotta love the digital online programs... no messy scrapbook paper, gluing or printing required. Here are a few screen shots of my progress up until month 4.  How cute are B's Valentine's day pictures? Apparently Shutterfly maxes out a a certain number of pages. I think I might be able to squeeze 6 months of photos into this first book. Anyone remember the episode of Malcom in the Middle where Francis has 18 baby books, Reese has one, Malcom's has been started and Dewey's is still in the wrapper. This is definitely a Francis situation!

Splurge vs Steal

I really love this West Elm swirl rug, however, I realized it was $400 AND back ordered until the summer so on to plan B...

Plan B was another West Elm rug in similar colors but it was still +$300 for the size I wanted it in. I couldn't justify spending this for a rug that was going to be under my little man's play zone. I assume it will be destroyed in time.

  

Eventually I found the rug below which is also very similar at Urban Outfitters for $69 in the size I wanted. Hooray for plan C.
